Bioptimus Selected as Laureate of the FrenchTech Next 40/120 Program

Bioptimus, a trailblazer in AI-driven biological modeling, is proud to announce its selection as a laureate of the prestigious FrenchTech Next40/120 program for 2025. The official announcement was made today by Clara Chappaz, Minister for Digital Affairs and Artificial Intelligence.

The FrenchTech Next40/120 program is a government-backed initiative that recognizes and supports the most promising and high-impact technology companies in France. It provides selected startups with tailored support from French public services, increased visibility, and facilitated access to international markets and financing.

Zelda Mariet, VP of Research at Bioptimus, said:

“This recognition confirms Bioptimus as one of the most ambitious and fast-growing companies in France. We’re scaling quickly with a mission to transform biomedical research on a global scale.”

Bioptimus was founded to harness the power of foundation models to unlock new discoveries in biology, spanning from healthcare to biotech and environmental sciences. Its interdisciplinary team combines world-leading AI research with biological and medical expertise, building the infrastructure for the next generation of data-driven life science breakthroughs.

Bioptimus joins the ranks of FrenchTech Next40/120 laureates such as Mistral AI, Deezer, BlaBlaCar, and Contentsquare—companies that have grown from French startups into globally recognized technology leaders. This highlights the program’s reputation as a powerful catalyst for scaling innovation on the world stage.

Bioptimus looks forward to working closely with the FrenchTech mission and other laureates to collectively shape the future of AI and life sciences on a global scale.
